This manual has been prepared to assist instructors, craftsmen and trainees in the development of satisfactory levels of skill and job knowledge required in the board's system of module training for craftsmen. The intention has been to illustrate the various elements of craftsmanship in the particular module to which the manual refers through fiagrams supported by notes on procedure. It is expected that each trainee will be in possession of the appropriate instruction manual throughout his training and experience modules, and that the manuals will be used as a self-teaching aid for trainees following demnstration of a particular skill element by a skilled craftsman.
