This method for checking or evaluating soil characteristics used in projects is prescribed by Eurocode 7: the European standard for foundations, earthworks and underground structures. A veritable reference book for practising construction engineers and civil engineering students. Writing this handbook was supported by a grant from the Federal Roads Office.
