The handbook is separated into six major division, each mad up of several chapters. The first, perspective and basic principales, trats both the history of solar energy use and basic, matters common to all solar systems including solar radiation and optics, heat transfert and thermodynamics, and solar component materials and storage. The second division, solar-thermal collection and conversion methodes, treats the many methods of producing heat from solar radiation. As such it treats only collectors, not systems, wich becom the subject of later divisions. The third divisionn of the book, Low-temperature solar conversion systms, describes systems which operate below 100°C. Systems modiling and performance prediction are the subjects of tow chapters followed by chapter on agricultural applications. in the fourth division alon with indusrtial process heat systems. The fifth division covers advanced and indirect solar convrsion systems, includin wind and biomass energies. The final divisio, architecture, economics, the law, and solar energy, treats matters nots directly associated with the technical design of solar systems. | Note de contenu : | Au sommaire :
- Perspective and basic principales
- Solar-thermal collection and conversion méthods
- Low-tempereure solar conversion systems
- Solar high tempertature and process heat systems
- Archetecture, économics, the law, and solar engergy |
