This manuscript is the culmination of several years of teaching. Indeed, a large number of exercices proposed come from archives of exam subjects and series of directed studies.
The book is aimed at first-year students (L1) in material science and technical science, but also at first-year students (L1) in life sciences. It first adresses the first four chapters of general chemistry: * The Constituents of the Atomic and Radioactivity" * Electronic Structure of the Atom" * The Periodic Table of Elements" * Chemical Bond" Then, some exam subjects with their corrections are introduced to ensure better preparation for the student for the exam. Each chapter is organized into two parts; the first includes a summary of the course to instill in students the basic concepts necessary to solve the exercises, the second presents a very interesting variety of exercises with detailed corrections. |
