The popularity of the second edition of the text book of Theory of Mechines among the students and the teachers of the various Universities in the country , has promted the bringing out of the third edition of the book so soon. The third edition has been thoroughly revised and brought up-to-date.
In the third edition, the three chapters entitled Computer Aided Analysis , Synthesis of Mechanism and Gyroscopic Couple and its effects have been added. The first two chapetrs have been written by Dr. J.S. Brar, in a sipmle and easy-to-follow language so that even an average student can grasp the subject by self-study. The objective type multiple-choice questions are often asked in various competitive examinations. Hence a large number of objective type questions with answers have been added in the end of the book. |
