This ninth edition of "The making, shaping and treating of steel" appears during the fiftieth anniversary of the first edition published in 1920. Following the tradition of earlier versions, it was prepared by the revision and expansion of the previous edition to reflect the technological changes of the recent past.
Once again, the aim has been to provide steel makers and users, manufacturers and suppliers of steel-plant equipment, educators and students, and others, with a source of facts relating to the raw materials, processes and products of the iron and steel industry. |
