In writing this book we have tried to provide a basic knowledge of reliability techniques that can be used by design or reliability engineers.The primary emphasis is on the problem of quantifying reliability in product design and testing.We were rncouraged to write this book by the many students from the detoit industries who have attended our courses in reliability.Since most of these students were experienced engineers,they contributed immensely in helping us to develop our approach to the product reliability problem.We owe these students many thanks. |
