VentilationIndex. décimale : 697 Chauffage.Ventilation.Conditionnement d'air dans les bâtiments. Résumé : The energy crises of the 1970s, persisting moisture problems, complaints about sick building, thermal, visual and olfactory discomfort, and the move towards more sustainability in building construction have pushed building physics to the diminish energy consumption in buildings without impairing usability acted as a trigger to activate the whole notion of performance based design and construction. As with all engineering sciences, building physics is oriented towards application, which is why, after a first book on fundamentals this second volume examines performance rationale and performance requirements... Note de contenu : Contents :
1. Outdoor and indoor conditions.
2. Performance metrics and arrays.
3. Functional requirements and performances at the building level.
4. Heat-air-moisture performances at the envelope level.
5. Heat-air-moisture material properties.Applied building physics : boundary conditions, building performance and material proprties [texte imprimé] / Hugo Hens, Auteur . - Berlin : Wilhelm Ernst und Sohn, 2011 . - XIV-308 p. : ill. ; 24 cm.

VentilationIndex. décimale : 697 Chauffage.Ventilation.Conditionnement d'air dans les bâtiments. Résumé :
Bad experiences with construction quality, the energy crises of 1973 and 1979, complaints about 'sick buildings', thermal, acoustic, visual, and olfactory discomfort, and the move towards mor sustainability have all accelerated the development of a field which until 35 years ago was hardly mor than an academic exercise: building physics. Through the application of existing physical knowledge and the combination with information coming from other disciplines, the field helps to understand the physical performance of building parts, buildings and the built environment, and translates it into correct design and construction.
Theortical building physics focuses on heat and mass transfer, sound and light. This volume considers air and moisture as mass flows and heat.Note de contenu : Summary :
1. Heat transfer.
2. Mass transfer.
3. Combined heat, air and moisture transfer.
