This is book consists of the papers presented at international symposium on metal slag gas reaction and processes held in toronto,canada on may 11-16-197,during the spring meeting of the electrochemical society. there are 78 papers contributed by scientists and engineers from 12 countries. this symposium was sponsored by the society's electrothermics and metallurgy and corrosion divisions .
The aim of this symposium was to bring together scintistsand engineers from interdisciplinary areas working in the field of high temperature chemical metallurgy with the goals of a thorough treatment of the current research in this broad subject and the exchange of information among investigators with different points of view. we hope that the information in the papers contained in this book will be use- full to all those concerned with the various aspects of high temperature chemical metallurgy and that progress in this important area will there-by be appreciably accelerated. |
