Résumé : |
This book is widely used as a textbook for high school and college courses, but I also highly recommend it to students who are taking trig-based or calculus-based physics and want to better understand the concepts. The author obviously has excellent communication skills and thorough understanding of the concepts as the material is presented very clearly and precisely. Furthermore, it is presented in clear, plain language, not technical jargon. The book is written in a way that makes it very engaging. You can also sense the author's passion for conceptual physics, which is infectious. I have recommended this as supplemental reading to many students, and 100% of them have really enjoyed the book. Many of the examples, questions, and diagrams are intriguing and/or fun. If you are taking conceptual physics or physical science with a different textbook, you will probably be happy to have this textbook as a supplement. If you are taking trig-based or calculus-based physics and you're struggling, I also recommend this book to help you improve your conceptual understanding. |
