Following the international workshop on autogenous shrinkage of concrete "AutoShrink 98" organized by the Japan concrete institute in Hiroshima (Japan, 1998) and the international research seminar on self-desiccation and its importance in concrete technology in Lund (Sweden, 1997 and 1999), the International RILEM workshop on shrinkage of concrete "Shrinkage 2000" will be held in Paris, in October 2000.
