Titre : Ambient intelligence Type de document : document électronique Auteurs : Weber, Werner, Auteur ; Emile Aarts, Auteur ; Rabaey, Jan M., Auteur Editeur : Berlin : Springer Année de publication : 2005 Collection : Engineering ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-3-540-27139-0 Note générale : Configuration requise : Adobe acrobat Langues : Anglais (eng) Mots-clés : Nanotechnology Artificial intelligence Electronics* Index. décimale : 621.38 Dispositifs électroniques. Tubes à électrons. photocellules. Accélérateur de particules. Tubes à rayons X Résumé : Ambient Intelligence (AmI) is an integrating technology for supporting a pervasive and transparent infrastructure for implementing smart environments. Such technology is used to enable environments for detecting events and behaviors of people and for responding in a contextually relevant fashion. AmI proposes a multi-disciplinary approach for enhancing human machine interaction.
Ambient Intelligence: A Novel Paradigm is a compilation of edited chapters describing current state-of-the-art and new research techniques including those related to intelligent visual monitoring, face and speech recognition, innovative education methods, as well as smart and cognitive environments.
The authors start with a description of the iDorm as an example of a smart environment conforming to the AmI paradigm, and introduces computer vision as an important component of the system. Other computer vision examples describe visual monitoring for the elderly, classic and novel surveillance techniques using clusters of cameras installed in indoor and outdoor application domains, and the monitoring of public spaces. Face and speech recognition systems are also covered as well as enhanced LEGO blocks for novel educational purposes. The book closes with a provocative chapter on how a cybernetic system can be designed as the backbone of a human machine interaction.Ambient intelligence [document électronique] / Weber, Werner, Auteur ; Emile Aarts, Auteur ; Rabaey, Jan M., Auteur . - Springer, 2005. - (Engineering) .

Tubes à électrons. photocellules. Accélérateur de particules. Tubes à rayons X Résumé : Whether you are a researcher, or practising engineer, or even non-familiar with power amplifiers student, it is a good idea to look into Advanced Design Techniques for RF Power Amplifiers.
Its main aim is to provide the reader with a deep analysis of theoretical aspects, modelling, and design strategies of RF high-efficiency power amplifiers. Advanced Design Techniques for RF Power Amplifiers begins with an analytical review of current state of the problem. Then it moves to the theoretical analysis of BJT class-F power amplifier near transition frequency and presents the necessary realization conditions. The next part concerns the practical verification and demonstration of the theoretical results. It is followed by the part devoted to the output networks of high-efficiency power ampifiers. The novel type of photonic band-gap structure providing improved characteristics both in the pass and stop bands is proposed. Finally, the fifth-harmonic peaking class F power amplifier design based on the above structure isAdvanced design techniques for RF power amplifiers [document électronique] / Rudiakova, Anna, Auteur ; Krizhanovski, Vladimir, Auteur . - Springer, 2006. - (Engineering) .
