Résumé : |
After a short and classical review of the mechanics of continuous media, the main constitutive laws independent of time are presented from the smplest linear elesticity to the more complex thermoporoelasticity. Finally, the third part deals with the notion of rupture through classical fracture mechanics as well as damage and bifuraction theories. In particular, the last chapitre is entirely devoted to the crucial problem of shearing bands. this book is intended for engineers, teachers, graduates and Ph.D students in geomechanics. they will find in it a way to review quickly their knowledge on possibly forgotten or neglected theories |

I Mechanics of continuous media basic concepts
- State of strain
- State of stress
