The present study, international scientific organizations: a guide to their library, documentation, and information services, is a direct outgrowth of the section's work...Each of the reports in the guide begins with a description of its library documentation, and information services, or other relevant activities. The second part of the report lists publications in tow categories. In the first category are those publications repared or issued by the organization. The second category is called Related materials and lists those books and articles found to be useful in the preparation of the report in which they appear. The third part of each report is called Facts... it contains a brief résumé of the origin, purposes, administratives structure, international relationships, financing, and membership of the organization. |
