This book provides a comprehensive overview of all the major aspects and techniques of systems analysis for both newcorners to the field and practising analysts.
Since the first editions published in 1972 new techniques have been introduced and some changes in emphasis have inevitably occured in the field of systems analysis. Hence this second in which the authors have thoroughly reviewed and revised their text.
The major changes have taken place in the technology of data processing, in particular in the areas of data communications, data management and input methods; these developments are reflected in the relevant chapters of the book. Other changes in systems methodology of techniques of analysis have also been taken into account in the rewriting and updating. |
