This concise textbook provides a direct approach to the principles and basic problems of surveying, with a firm emphasis on modern equipment and techniques.
For this fifth edition, there has been an extentive rearrangement of existing chapters and materiel in addition to considerable rewtring and updating. Sections on doppler survey and inertial positioning have been introduced in the chapteur on orientation and position, and greater stress has been placed on setting out the chapter on survey methods. Numerous new examples, diagrams and exercises have been included. |
