This book is based in the first covers linear algebra, including its numerical aspects and its application to the solution of partial differential equations; the second covers analytical methods for the solution of partial differential equations; the third deals with numerical analysis, especially those aspects related to the solution of ordinary and partial differential equations; and the fourth covers the application of numerical methods to fluid mechanics. Other courses in numerical methods, including some inthe finite element method, are offered by other departments. |
