The object of this book is to study, from the mathematical standpoint the problem of the eqilibrium of a perfectly plastic body, under certain contitions.
Although the present study is devoted to this problem which will be described in detail below, it seems hieghly probable that the tools and methods used should serve in other fields and in particular in solving problems relating to the evolution of sphere of ideas, in certain optimal control problems |
