Résumé : |
The book is intended for use at the undergraduate and beginning graduate levels by students who have taken the basic engineering science courses, including thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics. It can be used in two regular semester courses, with a great deal of latitude in the makeup of those courses. Even though the book is designed primarily as a teaching device, it is also useful to practicing engineers as a ready source of background material and as a valuable aid in studying new procedures |
Note de contenu : |
Au sommaire :
- Air-conditioning systems
- Most air properties and conditioning processes
- Comfort and health
- Heat transmission in building structures
- Solar radiation
- Space heat load
- The cooling load
- Fluid flow, pumps, and piping design
- Room air distribution
- Fans and building air distribution
- Mass transfer abd the measurement of humidity
- Direct contact heat and mass transfer
- Extended surface heat exchangers
- Refrigeration |
