Résumé : |
The principal features of seismic refraction techniques are often described in general geophysicaltextbooks, but the practixcal problems encountered in carrying out and interpreting the results of such seismic surveys are rarely mentioned. The aim of this book is to redress the balance by emphasizing practical and theoretical aspects of refraction surveys, particularly the problems associated with engineering seismics at shallow depths. |

*Basic principles
*Depth formulae
*Interpretation methods
*Instrumentation, field work and interpretation procedure
