Titre : Arethmetic Algebric geometry Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Brrian Conrad, Editeur scientifique ; Karl Rubin, Editeur scientifique Editeur : Rhode Island : American mathematical society Année de publication : 2001 Collection : IAS/park city mathematics series num. Vol. 9 Importance : XIV-569 p. Format : 26 cm ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-0-8218-2173-2 Note générale : Bibliogr. Langues : Anglais (eng) Mots-clés : Arithmetical algebraic geometry
Géométrie algébrique arithmétique -- Actes de congrèsIndex. décimale : 511/514 Théorie des nombres/Géométrie Résumé : The articles in this volume are expanded versions of lectures delivered at the Graduate Summer School and at the Mentoring Program for Women in Mathematics held at the Institute for Advanced Study/Park City Mathematics Institute. The theme of the programme was arithmetic algebraic geometry. The choisce of lecture topics was heavily influenced by the recent spectacular work of wiles on modular elliptic curves and fermat's last theorem. The mmain emphasis of the articles in the volume is on elliptic curves, Galois respresentations, and modular froms. one lecture series offers an introduction to these objets. The others discuss selected recent results, current research, and open problems and conjectures. The book would be a suitble text for an advanced graduate topics course in arithmetic algebraic geometry Note de contenu :
- Elliptic curves, modular forms, and applications
- Open questions in arithmetic algebraic geometry
- Lectures on Serre's conjectures
- Introduction to Iwasawa theory for elliptic curves
- The arithmetic of modular forms
- Arithmetic of certain Calabi-Yau varieties and mirror symmetryArethmetic Algebric geometry [texte imprimé] / Brrian Conrad, Editeur scientifique ; Karl Rubin, Editeur scientifique . - American mathematical society, 2001 . - XIV-569 p. ; 26 cm. - (IAS/park city mathematics series; Vol. 9) .
