Résumé : |
In this present form, the book represents the third revision of a class notes which has evolved for six semestres in the Prdue university school of chemical engineering. These notes were used (1) as a text for a required senior course, (2) for part of the text material and as reference material in an elective graduate-level extension course, given to practicing chemical engineers with little or no previos experience in control, at the Purdue calumet campus. Even though we have found the material to be satisfactory in each of these applications, the book is written primarily as an undergraduate textbook. |
Note de contenu : |
Contents:
1. Laplace transforms
2. Linear open-loop systems
3. Linear closed-loop systems
4. Root-locus methods
5. Frequency-response methods
6. Process applications
7. Nonlinear methods
8. Analog computer |
