Résumé : |
This book is based on the lecture notes developed by the authors for courses on the theory of dislocations at carnegie institute of technology. The book is intended to be primarily a comprehensive txt in the feild of dislocations. It is comprised of two general groupings. Parts 1 and 2 essentially consider only fundamentals of dislocation theory. These fundamentals are solidly grounded and can be presented without problem. Parts 3 nd 4 treat both fundamentals and applications of the fundamentals to the understanding of physical phenomena. Those aspects of the theory that are discussed in detail are well founded |
Note de contenu : |
Au sommaire :
- Elasticity
- The theory of straight dislocations
- The theory of curved dislocations
- Applications to dislication interactions
- Applications to self-energies
- Dislocation dynamics
- The influence of lattice periodicity
- Slip systems of perfect dislocations
- Partial dislocations in FCC metals
- Partial dislocation in other structures
- Dislocations in ionic crystals
- Dislocations in anisotropic elastic media ... |
