Modules (Algebra)
Electronic booksIndex. décimale : 512.5 Algèbre générale Résumé : the authors of this book present wel-established results as wel as newwer, contemporary achievements inthis area from the common integral point of view. this view is based on the implementation of module theory for solving group problems. Evidently, this approach requires investigation of some specific types of modules: infinite simple modules and just infinite modules(note the every infinite noetherian module has either an infinite simple factor-module or a just infinite factor-module). this book will therefore be useful for group theorists as well as ring and module theorists. Also, the level, style, and presentation make the book easily accessible to graduate students Note de contenu :
I. Simple Modules
On annihilators of modules
Structure of simple modules over Abelian Groups
Structure of simple modules over some generalization of Abelian groups
II. Just infinite modules
Some results on modules over Dedekind domains
Just infinite modules over FC-hypercentral groups
Just infinite modules over groups of finite 0-rank
III. Just non-X-groups
Fitting subgroup of some just non-X-groups
Just non-Abelain groups

Résumé : This book attempts to couple control engineering with modern developments in science, through the concept of entropy, such disciplines as intelligent machines, economics, manifacturing, environmental systes, waste ect. can be farvorably affected and their performance can be improved or their catastrophic effects minimized. entropy is used as the unifying meausre of the various, seemingly sijoint, disciplines to represent the cost of producing work that improves the standard of living, bith in engineering and in science. Modling is done through probabilistic methods, thus establishing the irreversibility of the processes involved. This is in accordance with the modern view of science. In addition, the behavior of control fo an arbitrary but fixed controller away from the optimal has been obtained, the analytic expression of which should lead to chaotic solutions. The control activity is explained, based on the principle that control is making a system do what we want it to do. this helps to relats to relate control theory with the sciences Note de contenu :
- Entropy, control, chaos
- Stochastic optimal estimation and control
- Review of intelligent control systems
- Reliability as entropy
- Entropy in intelligent manufacturing
- Entropy control of ecosystems
- A case study on optimal control of intelligent space truss assembly

SynchronisationIndex. décimale : 621.382 Dispositifs électroniques utilisant les effets des corps solides. Dispositifs semi-conducteurs Résumé : This invaluable book studies synchronization of coupled chaotic circuits and systems, as well as its applications. It shows how one can use stability results in nonlinear control to derive synchronization criteria for coupled chaotic circuits and systems. It also discusses the use of Lyapunov exponents in deriving synchronization criteria. Both the case of two coupled systems and the case of arbitrarily coupled arrays of systems are considered. The book examines how synchronization properties in arrays of coupled systems are dependent on graph-theoretical properties of the underlying coupling topology. Finally, it studies some applications of synchronized chaotic circuits and systems, including spread spectrum and secure communications, coupled map lattices and graph coloring. Note de contenu :
- Synchronization in tow coupled chaotic systems
- Synchronization in coupled arrays of chaotic systems
- Synchronization in coupled arrays: dynamic coupling
- Graph topology and Synchronisation
