The objectives of this conference were to consider recent advances in computer-aided analysis and design of concrete structures.
The computer is an important engineering tool allowing considerable automation in the standadised design of conventional concrete structures thereby freein the designer from much tedious work.
Furthermore, for novel or complex concrete constructions, modern numerical models allow a useful insight into the structural behaviour under the expexted static and dynamic loadings. |
