Titre : Direct digital control systems Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Knowles , J.B., Auteur Editeur : New York : Wiley Année de publication : 1994 Importance : XVII-413 Présentation : ill Format : 24 cm ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 0-86380-167-6 Langues : Anglais (eng) Mots-clés : commande automatique commande digitale Index. décimale : 681.516 Systèmes de commande automatique selon la configuration d'un circuit de commande Résumé : Relates rigorously derived mathematical relationships for single-input DDC systems to their practical design. Deterministic and stochastic input data are considered with an objective of demonstrating the close mathematical similarities between results derived by the z- and Laplace Transformations. The losses of control accuracy due to the finite sampling frequency and wordlength of practical systems are quantified using techniques pioneered by the author. A comprehensive, yet computationally undemanding, design procedure is described that involves Nyquist diagrams,a ntialiasing filters, notch networks, and coarse-fine control modes to combat the destabilising effect of overflow. For postgraduate students and for practising engineers both in universities and industry. The book combines mathematical rigour with practical insight. The provision of qualitative explanations wherever possible, allows the book to be read initially without too much regard for the mathematical rigour, but cross-references enable the reader to locate necessary mathematical details when required.
The author is considered a world-class expert on digital data system design and his contributions in this field have been acknowledged by past service on reviewing panels for the IEE, IEEE and I Mech E, as well as on the Control and Instrumentation subcommittee of the SERC. His work on the explosive expansion phase of molten fuel-coolant interactions has also been internationally recognised.ISBN 13 : 978-0863801679 Direct digital control systems [texte imprimé] / Knowles , J.B., Auteur . - New York : Wiley, 1994 . - XVII-413 : ill ; 24 cm.
