The book contains a number of 'assignments', or exercises, that have all been tried on a large class of students and have proved to be effective learning aids (answers are supplied). Some of the exercises use a machine-code simulator, written in commodore PET Basic.
The text of the program is in the book and can easily by adapted to run on any interactive Basic system. A knowledge of Basic is not required to use the simulator. |
