In the last few years, communications policy and regulation has emerged as a key issue in international relations and is expected to remain a dominant, politcally charged issue area throughout the 1980's. The interpretation law therefore takes on increasing importance, a trend which is strengthened by the interlinkage of international and national politics and regulation in this area. The purpose of this collection is to provide, for the first time, a comprehensive assembly of all major international legal instruments that are applicable to communications and information. It is intended for policy-makers, lawyers and diplomats, communications, information and media practitioners and students, and other experts concerned with current international in this field. |
