Titre : Discrete linear control systems Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : V. N. Fomin, Auteur Editeur : Boston : Kluwer academic publishers Année de publication : 1991 Collection : Mathematics and its applications Sous-collection : Soviet series num. Vol. 67 Importance : XIII-302 p. Présentation : ill. Format : 25 cm ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-0-7923-1248-2 Note générale : Bibliogr. p. 289-297. Index Langues : Anglais (eng) Mots-clés : Control theory Index. décimale : 62-52 Machine et processus conduits ou contrôlés automatiquement Résumé : This volume deals with various topics of modern control theory. Emphasis is placed on the investigation of linear systems and quadratic criteria in a discrete time domain. However, many results obtained for discrete processes can also be applied to continuous systems. Control, with or without noise, with complete or partial information, and other cases are discussed. Major attention is paid to the foundation of adaptive control techniques and analysis is presented using well-known recursive algorithms such as the Kalman-bucy filter for stochastic approximation.
New results are also discussed. The six chapters of the book deal respectively with basic concepts; finite time period control; infinite time period control; adaptive linear control systems with bounded noise; dynamic system identification; and adaptive control of stochastic systems.Note de contenu : Contents:
* Basic concepts and statement of problems in control theory.
* Finite time period control.
* Infinite time period control.
* Adaptive linear control systems with bounded noise.
* The problem of dynamic system identification.
* Adaptive control of stochastic systems.Discrete linear control systems [texte imprimé] / V. N. Fomin, Auteur . - Kluwer academic publishers, 1991 . - XIII-302 p. : ill. ; 25 cm. - (Mathematics and its applications. Soviet series; Vol. 67) .

It is written by two of thz leading mathematicians in this field.
Algebraic geometric codes open new, exciting possibilities in coding theory and related topics. However, these are rather difficult to study, due to their interdisciplinary nature. This book has been written both for coding theorists and for algebraic geometers. Starting from essentially first principles, the text leads the reader to the most recent published and unpublished results.
Moreover, problems and hints for their solutions are includes, as well as many open problems.Note de contenu : Contents:
* Codes.
* Curves.
* AG-Codes.
* Modular Codes.
* Sphere Packings.Algebraic-geometric codes [texte imprimé] / Michael A. Tsfasman, Auteur ; S. G. Vladut, Auteur . - Kluwer academic publishers, 1991 . - XXIV-667 p. : ill. ; 25 cm. - (Mathematics and its applications. Soviet series; Vol. 58) .
